it's been a month without any news about papadat......here what was happened during the time...
1. the person who handle all the bodywork quit job
2. i'm still thinking bout the other 2 KE70 fenders....hard to get'em anyway
3. my mech busy setting a drag car
4. welding job taken too much time, better find the right time.
so......probably i will pending all the job until everybody is free...

Holiday
Holiday song by whom?.....Scorpions or Greenday....no matter who sang it, both were among under my best songlist....
few parts already sandblasted.....headlight trim, blablabla.......
got 2 ke70 fender for rm80 (rm50 + rm30)....and cut the arch....the arch fit nicely to the 510 body.....
and found 1 more abandoned 510 in seremban....few parts still can be used and i paid rm50 for the deposit before the owner throw it to the junkyard....

Only God Knows Why
there are 2 interesting things that this 510 has...and i'm other 510 too as well....
1. most of the parts uses in the car are metal made like the dashboard trim,dashboard top cover, B pillar cover, and U rubber cover....
2. most of the screws in the car uses philip type screw which made me work as hell to get 'em out. some of 'em left stucked and some of 'em broken into 2. uses on wiper panel, fenders, steeing column cover, dashboards, doors item, horns, headlamps bracket, safety belt and more to list....
this 2 things are strictly different from my starlet......anybody knows why?

Color Me Blind
it's a long weekend to keep the project on....from to christmas day up to new years day. so the project goes with..........
bought new oxy welding set,dismantling the IRS, dismantling the engine parts, strip the paints, dismantle all doors parts, separated the apron that welded together with the fenders, dismatling the dashboard part into pieces, clean the dashboard parts and rework the rear arch....

-time for labelling and storing all dismantle parts in dedicated boxes
-bring back home the windscreen glass

All The Small Things
packed every stuff in dedicated boxes.....wiring, aircond parts, interior parts, door parts, engine parts, handling/suspension parts & all the small things parts....
discussed with wan how to get the oxygen welding set....either to buy or rent from a local shop.decided to buy a new 1....

finally....the engine out from shell on 16/12......and found only 1 major rust spot
